ARE THESE KID FRIENDLY?
- We recommend always checking with a medical professional for the best advice, but our kids eat these without issue...they happen to love them.
ARE THESE GLUTEN OR LACTOSE FREE?
- Our bars do not have ingredients that contain gluten but we cannot guarantee no cross contamination with wheat. As for lactose, our products are made with whey protein which has a small trace of carbohydrates from milk, so they are not lactose-free.
WHY WHEN PROTEIN?
- Whey protein is among the best studied and highest nutritionally ranked of all protein sources. It is considered a complete protein (contains all essential amino acids) and digests easily and quickly. Whey promotes lean muscle mass and is very filling, which makes it an optimal nutritional tool for fat loss. Whey protein is also great for satiety, meaning it keeps you full longer.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO CONSUME A PROTEIN BAR?
- It depends on your goals. We have parents thanking us for giving them an easy breakfast option for their kids. We have professionals who eat these to keep themselves full and energized during long workdays. They are also a wonderful pre-workout fuel source or a great post workout recovery tool. They are versatile, easy to grab on the go, and provide sustained energy (3-4 hours).
